Follows your driving
Speed from the car's GPS drives a virtual gearbox with gear changes, revs and load. Everything is calculated in the browser, with no Tesla account needed.
Engine sound for Tesla
Revvolt creates engine sound in real time in the car's browser. The sound follows how you drive, with virtual gear changes and revs, from a rumbling V8 to a screaming V10.
The same synthesis engine as in the car, running in your browser. No recordings.
This browser does not support Web Audio AudioWorklet. Try a recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
The sound
Every ignition becomes a pressure pulse travelling through headers, exhaust pipes and mufflers in a physical model. That is why every engine sounds different, and why it sounds right between the gears too.
Speed from the car's GPS drives a virtual gearbox with gear changes, revs and load. Everything is calculated in the browser, with no Tesla account needed.
Cross-plane and flat-plane V8s, flat-six, inline-six, V10 and twin-turbo. Each with its own firing order, exhaust system and character.
Stationary demo with an on-screen throttle when the car is in P. It turns off immediately if the car starts to roll.
Stand next to the car and rev from your phone. If your car has Boombox, you can let the sound be heard outside.
Classic instruments with a rev counter, or a living sound wave that shows the layers of the sound in real time.
Revvolt is sound and visuals in the browser. No commands to the car, no modifications and nothing to install.

FAQ
No. The sound is calculated in real time by Revvolt's synthesis engine from a model of the engine and exhaust. That is why revs can change smoothly, without loops or seams.
No. The Tesla browser has no access to the car's data. While driving, the sound follows the speed from GPS and the acceleration calculated from it. It works best outdoors with good GPS reception.
No. Revvolt is a web page that plays sound through the car's normal speakers. It sends no commands to the car and changes nothing in it.
Normally only in the cabin. Revvolt never controls the pedestrian warning speaker. If your car has Boombox, you can choose to play media outside while parked. Be considerate of neighbours and local rules.
Revvolt runs in the built-in Tesla browser and is developed and tested in the Model Y. Other models with the same browser should work. You can try it for free before you buy.
You do not need to touch the screen while driving. The display gets calmer and settings are locked while the car is moving. Keep the volume at a level where you can hear your surroundings and follow traffic rules.
